BeatPick’s New Videos in Collaboration with Kris Hofmann
Filed Under Uncategorized | Leave a Comment
Kris Hofmann produced three short, mini videos to help explain how BeatPick can facilitate your navigation through the intricate music licensing processes to develop a successful and fulfilled integrated result.
The three videos incorporate analogies of common situations to help all audiences better understand what exactly it is BeatPick.com can do for them (you) in an accessible and coherent manner.
Beatpick / spot 03 from Kris Hofmann on Vimeo.
The first video uses the common difficulty of managing to assemble a piece of furniture. The video identifies the trouble many people can have in understanding where everything goes, what piece fits with what, or even the function itself of the piece. BeatPick serves as an expert architect to help you assemble all of the pieces correctly to produce the final product at its most stable, successful, and capable capacity.

The second video uses yet another common difficulty many people experience, that of unlatching a bra in the dark in order to take it off as its final outcome. BeatPick can help you ‘’find the light’’ and aid the development of your desires, sauced at accomplishing your goals, and achieve an outstanding result.

The third video illustrates how BeatPick can act as a translator, due to the fact that music terminology, concepts, and procedures can be so difficult to understand and read; even as tough as reading Chinese as the video points out. BeatPick is an expert at translating the music licensing technical jargon and putting it into language that is approachable and easy to understand, allowing clients to feel comfortable and confident in working with BeatPick to incorporate music effectively and artistically.
The three videos have already been featured on SPOTLIGHT, and are accompanied with a Question and Answer interview section with the producer Kris Hofmann herself. Follow the link to watch the videos and to read what Kris has to say!

One of BeatPicks Artists, Marina V, Opens up to us in a Brief Interview
Filed Under Uncategorized | Leave a Comment
MarinaV, originally from Soviet Russia, has been recently growing rapidly as a Classic Pop/Pop Rock composer and singer. BeatPick noticed her talent right away, and so have many of our clients. She is now being listened to in thousands of stores across Europe. Her many successes and supportive fans around the world have caught our attention, so we would like to dedicate this blog to her and all of her hard work, as well as to encourage the passionate artists out there to keep creating and submitting music to us!
Here are a few questions we asked Marina:
“Unbalanced” http://bit.ly/cT9wjj is playing in hundreds of stores across Europe through BeatPicks music licensing service, how are you finding your experience with BeatPick? I’m really happy that my songs are playing in many stores (like Aiazzone/B&S furniture stores in Italy!) across Europe thanks to BeatPick’s programs, it’s very exciting!!! I think BeatPick’s program is wonderful as it’s helping me get my music to unique outlets! Thank you, BeatPick!!
Marina entered a competition on ourstage.com and ranked first place
Can you tell us a bit more about this competition on Outstage? I entered my song “You Make Me Beautiful” into the contest on ourstage.com – which is a great new site/company that is affiliated with such entities as MTV & Lilith Fair. There were competitions in different channels (genres), and my song was competing against 600+ songs in the female singer/songwriter category. It won the category, and then there was the competition amongst the top songs in each of the 33 genres, and, thanks to fan votes – I ranked first and won the GRAND overall prize!
Marina needed funds for her new album, so she decided to turn to her fans for help.
How did you manage to raise the money to make your new album?
I really wanted to go into the studio and make a new album, but didn’t have the funds.. So I decided to go to my fans and ask them for help! I set up a page on marinav.com and explained to my Patrons of the Arts about the recording and how much I needed! I was able to raise almost $30,000! I am very lucky to have such amazing fans!
Marina’s music is not only playing in thousands of stores across Europe, she has also been Co-writing with NBC’s “Days of Our Lives” composer and using the songs for the show.
How did you like working with soap operas? How did you get into that field? Is it something you would repeat?
I met the composer for NBC’s “Days of Our Lives” who really liked my music and asked me to co-write a few songs with him for the show!! We wrote 4 songs, then we recorded them and had them in the show!! It was lots of fun and I hope to do more in the future!
We would like to conclude by thanking Marina and wishing her the best of luck for the future! If you go on www.marinav.com you can get 2 free downloads of her music.

Non-commercial projects: In Brief
New features have been added to our software. Non commercial users have always been required to leave their email address, name, and project description. Furthermore, upon completion of the project, if the creator is interested in showing the artist/s how he or she utilized the single or multiple tracks, he or she is given the possibility to leave a link upon the completion of their work (their finished product). The final project will appear on the artist backend and you will be able to check the usage and credits; moreover, use it in your show reel.
Non-commercial projects: Clarification
Our policy is: that we allow non commercial users to sync your music for free. We believe this positively contributes to the diffusion of your popularity as well as increases in networking and in rights management. Your music is offered for free mainly to amateurs, prosumers, students, small non-profit organizations and open source projects. We offer your music for free to the above categories because we are certain that the individual/s would find an alternative path to obtain the single or multiple tracks desired, that meets their needs for free, but illegally. BeatPick believes it is impossible to prevent unauthorized uses. Moreover, we are certain that the above people use your music in a non commercial context; to have fun, be creative or to learn. They would not be able or willing to pay to use your music. Therefore, they would simply continue to use the grey market. We believe it is best to offer a legal alternative in exchange for their email and name. Furthermore, the option to link their projects on our website and the obligation to credit your names within their projects.
New feedback tool with your music!
In order to meet your demand for a feedback-tool, we have been working on a non-commercial feedback system.
How does it work?
- The first step for non commercial users is to leave their name, a valid email address and a brief project description.
- Upon our acceptance, we send a link to the user’s email address. We also ask the individual to come back to our site and post a final version of the non commercial project/s.
- After 15, 30 and 90 days an automatic follow up is sent to the user, which functions as a reminder to post a web-link to the completed project .
- When a new project is posted on your artist account, a notice is sent to your email address (make sure it is valid). You will be asked to follow a web-link that opens a up a preview of the video.
|
This is the email you will receive with the link already embedded: |
|
Below the image of the e-mail, you can see the video in your backend. In bold: “Actions” in blue: “ Feedback(s)” |
|
After you click on the feedback, the image at the bottom will pop up on your screen, where you can directly see your work! |
